Easy Code Signing 2016

Code Signing made easy

Easy Code Signing makes it simpler for developers to sign their applications. You can do so quickly and easily. It allows you to set it up to sign dependent dlls and other programs when you sign an application through the GUI. It requires nothing more than system files that were included in windows xp and later to work. So you do not need either Signtool or Signcode to sign an application. The application can talk directly to the operating system to initiate the signing.

In addition, you can sign multiple files at once. There is a button to open up the ability to sign more than one file. You can do this by marking the files as dependents of a main program. Once you do this, when you sign the main program all the other dependent files will be signed as well.

Unlike the Microsoft Tools that come with Visual Studio, you do not need to re-enter the same information over and over again. Once you tell the program which Timestamp url you want to use, and the certificate and private keys are, the program saves them and looks them up each time you need to sign a file. This is true for either the gui or the command line.

Re-Signing Your Program Easily

Once you sign the application, the location of the signed file remains in the program database. So if you recompile and need to sign the file again, all you have to do is select the file from the dropdown menu and click sign. As long as the file remains in the same place and keeps the same name, that is all you have to do.
