Just saw on KDKA my Alma Mater has a Problem

Geneva College is overflowing with people that want to attend. They now have a waiting list for those that want to attend but the college doesn't have room for. What a great problem for a great college to have.

I recommend Geneva to anyone that wants a great education.

In my perfect world scenario, I would be hired at Geneva to teach Biblical Studies someday.

I sent two kids from wife's church to Geneva this year. Western PA has some of the best Christian colleges in the Nation. I was accepted to both Geneva and Grove City but chose neither, much to my chagrin.

Where did you go for your BA or BS?

I finally graduated from Pitt with a BA but first went to Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH. I went there to play soccer and left with a wife, so maybe it wasn't such a bad decision after all.

Oy state schools...

I went to Slippery Rock for my MA in history and not the center for openness toward the Bible. Although I ended up writing I believe a 20-30 page research paper on the Historical reliability of the Exodus after the professor had informed the class that she didn't hold the history of the Bible to high regard and doubted the Exodus occurred.(I'm pretty sure she was a fan of Thomas Thompson) I also presented the paper to the class for an hour and a half. It was supposed to be 30 minutes but I went into auto ta mode from my days at Geneva and never realized it.

I got a lot of red marks on the paper but she gave me an A with a message, I dont agree with you but I can't refute your arguments.

It was good for me to go to state schools. Learned a lot how misinformed and ignorant the majority of kids are...
