Ok I give up. Why do they have to give a $1 million endowment to the Episcopal church?

After all...

The congregation is planning to buy a closed Catholic church in Amesbury and start over as All Saints Anglican, a local parish of the Kenyan church.

I see no justification for one penny going to the Episcopal church.
